Hi Scatterbrain,
you're very welcome, it seemed straightforward at first but ?. I've not been on the Forum for a while and it shows, so rusty I forgot to look FIRST at the prior threads, which were very interesting!

The Forest is essentially quite a compact area and your history appears to be all within what is now Cinderford and its environs, my home town & area, at the Forest's Eastern edge.

What do you think re my possible Baptism Record for Hannah ?. The more I think of it the more probable it seems that someones misread Daniel as David.

But as to George Phelps, sorry at the mo thats got me confused !. However I suspect the various prior threads will contain your answers or at least strong pointers.
I strongly recommend you try to contact the original poster David Phelps, he seems to have done a lot of research of that line. I see he's not been active on the Forum for a while but maybe our kind admin, another David, might still have contact details for him ?.
