Peter Horlick son of James and Priscilla was baptised at Ruardean on March 20th 1842:

The family are still in Ruardean on the 1851 census along with younger brothers James and William, so not sure where the London connection comes in.

There is a different Peter Horlick who gets married by licence in St Pancras, London on 26 May 1842:
Peter Horlick of full age widower occupation Smith living Whitechapel son of Alex Horlick (deceased) married May Ann Heath full age spinster living St Pancras daughter of William Heath Farmer. Witnesses William and Elizabeth Hockells.
He may well still be in London in 1843 and perhaps purchased the bible then?
However I cant find him on the 1851 census.

The surname Horlick is very common around Painswick in Gloucestershire and may well be where the name originates from.

Best Wishes

Alice
