William / Robert BEALE Staunton/Dymock /Redmarley area (General)

by slowhands @, proud of his ancient Dean Forest roots, Sunday, September 30, 2012, 09:54 (4440 days ago) @ dennisc3

If William is the brother of Robert, I could possibly have a breakthrough on my hands. Robert is my GGG Grandfather and has been avoiding me for years. Have you found anything at all which suggests a connection please? The other question, since I am a little out of touch, is would the bride and groom's fathers be named in marriage registers for 1815? Answers to these two questions are, I know, unlikely, but could further my research overnight!
Thanks for all your trouble.

Whilst not your Robert - it "hints" that this might be the correct trail for you to follow :-)

on the Marriage register question - in general the older the register the less likely to have father/parental details supplied.
