NEWENT

PETTY SESSIONS, THURSDAY.-Before Mr Andrew Knowles (in the chair), Major Thackwell and Mr F Ricardo.-Robert Marshall, Huntley, was charged with stealing a tame rabbit, value 2s., the property of Mrs Dobbs, of Huntley. Fined 10s, and costs, altogether 30s.

Robert Marshall, of Huntley, was charged with stealing at the parish of Churcham, [and found guilty] on the 13th inst., one collar and a front and one collar and a pocket handkerchief, the property of Robert Hooper. Sent to hard labour for ten days.

The above may refer to Robert Marshall born c1868 the son of Robert Marshall 1812-1899 and Eliza Harper.
