Breams Eaves (General)

by slowhands @, proud of his ancient Dean Forest roots, Friday, November 08, 2013, 08:22 (4035 days ago) @ winky

They definitely could have moved very easily! There is a straight short road connecting what I always think of as Breams Eaves to Parkend Road which to my knowledge was always considered Bream Woodlands and not Breams Eaves. Breams Eaves was traditionally just above the Princess Royal colliery (the road leading from Whitecroft to Bream).

Best wishes
Carol

Bream Eaves is that East to North East corner of "Bream", where the High St / Rd branches to form Whitecroft Rd and Parkend Rd; and below Whitecroft Rd toward Princess Royal.

The sweep from Whitecroft Rd up towards the Parkend Rd is Bream Eaves Inclosure no1

further along the Whitecroft rd is Bream Eaves Inclosure no2
