Glad you've found the site helpful so far, yes it's a credit to all the people who did all the hardwork to create it (no, not me !).

Just a quick thought, have you searched this forum for prior threads, I see the Ambrey name has been discussed a few times, plus there are some Wills etc in the Documents section. The whole site deserves thorough browsing in my opinion, theres some real gems to be found oif yoiu dig deep enough.

Re Chris' reply, if you check this link to the Herefordshire FHS you'll see a contact for a lady who is already researching your Ambrey surname, perhaps she might be able to help you ?.
