Hi Jefff, thank you for your message dated 10 Nov (Tues) addressed to
ANN!!!. The original posting is mine however, and I did receive
communications/cuttings from you in Feb of this year, and it seems
that I did not reply which is very unusual for me, I apologise.
Getting back to business and looking back through my files I have
communicated with annrh32 also in the early part of this year, who I
think might be the ANN you refer to. I don't think I was much help to
her, and it is obvious that we have a shared interest in the Parry
family so I would like to make amends if possible. Ref. your
postscript concerning Hubert Parry the Composer, I have not raised him
in the past therefore it must have been ANN. Please observe the
following which may be of interest. In the Gloucester Citizen
27/5/1885 the following appeared in the Miscellaneous section '' I the
undersigned MARIA PARRY of Birdwood House Churcham in the County of
Gloucester, the wife of William Parry of the same place, DO HEREBY
GIVE NOTICE that my husband, William Parry is not authorized to buy,
sell, or remove any goods on my behalf,, or to act as my agent, in any
way, and that I WILL NOT BE BOUND OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACT
COMMITTED BY HIM. Dated this 22nd day of May 1885''.
I see you have been away from the forum since the Spring, I have not
been researching for quite sometime now , but intend to get back into
it now the Winter is nigh upon us
All the best
regards
Eric Parry (goldenfox)
