the Gwynne family were only an 'aside'.... as the photograph of the four young men was taken by Ida Gwynne of Lipton Chambers, Gloucester, and I was trying to find out when she was there so that I could perhaps date the photo better. but the 'expert' told us that the date was definitely 1914-1919
