GRIFFITHS & CULLIS (General)

Help please! Harriet GRIFFITHS was my g grandmother and she was born in Blakeney Hill in 1868. Her father was David and her mother was Emma (nee CULLIS), both of Blakeney. Her siblings were William, Henry, Charles, Esther, James and Walter. She is stated on various census as being the wife of James BEAT (or BEET)who was born in North Clifton, Nottinghamshire. His birth name was Jim HUDSON. I believe Harriet met James when he was a soldier in Newport and their first child, Harry, was born in 1888. I cannot find any record of them getting married in any BMD Index. Can anyone help please? Any other info about either the GRIFFITHS or CULLIS family would be appreciated
