Ayers/Ayres family of Walford (General)

Please can anyone help:- My gr gr grandparents John and Jane Ayers nee Jefferies, left Avening Nr Stroud in 18?? following a dispute with their son Thomas, and went to live at the Soundings, Walford, Ross-on-Wye. The son Tom was never heard of again by the family, they also had two daughters a son David who lived in Pontypridd, also my gr granfather Henry who married Mary Day of Amney St.Peters/ Eastington:- they had 10 children.
I am wondering when the family moved to Walford and if there are any descendents of either Thomas or David.
The above information was given me in a letter by my second cousin who died recently.
