AYERS / AYRES family of Ross on Wye (General)

Thank you slowhands for all the information, My grandmother Emily said she was born in Tenbury Wells, but I never asked why the family were there, her father Henry was coachman at what is now the Chase Hotel but was a private residence then, he was the licensee of the Noah's Ark,Tudorville Ross-on-Wye at the end of his working life.Two of Henry and Mary Ann's children are buried in Ross churchyard:- Frederick born 1892 died 1896, and Thomas Gordan born 1889 died 1890 there is a stone to mark their graves.
