Hi Jim Ashton,
Bertram John Meek was my father's brother - he moved to Newcastle and married there, though I always thought that his wife's name was Mona. That apart, he had three children named Bill (I think), Margaret and Derek. I know nothing more of the subsequent line except that the Jessica Meek(see archive message) is the great-granddaughter of Bertram and so the granddaughter of either Bill or Derek as I believe Margaret had no children.
I have just started researching my family tree so find your information very useful - I will try and find out which Moses Meek was the father of my grandmother, Jane. Adding to the fun is the fact that there are Meeks on both sides of my mother's family as well.
Gerry Meek.
