Oliver LUFF Baptism in St Briavels help please (General)
Thanks for your reply, Malcolm (and Jan and slowhands). As Oliver Luff married in 1740, then he was (probably) baptised before 1735. I say probably, because I do have one or two on my tree that got baptised just before marriage, as presumably the local minister refused to marry someone who'd never been christened.
Do you know if the earlier records (say, 1700-1735) are available? And what do you mean by "now's your chance"? If it means transcription, then I'll have some free time after March, but I'd love to see any images in the meantime.
And I await the results of your transcriptions with bated breath!
