I have been reading the posts on your Griffiths with interest.

Some of these are my relatives.

The Amelia J Griffiths you mention is Amelia Jane Griffiths my great grandmother. Her mother's name was Harriet MEEK. James and Harriet moved with their family north, first to Chesterfield and then Amelia Jane married William George Cocksedge and moved to Barnsley area.

James Griffiths parents were James Griffiths and Jane and his grandfather was Giles Griffiths. Unfortunately I don't know which one as I believe there were two Giles born about the same time.

I would very much like to exchange information with you.
