Hundred of St Briavels.

The Hundred is different to the Parish !

in simple terms.

The Parish relates to the Church / Village, where as the Hundred is an Admin area and is understood to be the geographic limits of the Forest of Dean.

Private Baptism

Usually refers to a baptism carried out at home rather than publically in a Church.

I have seen reference to the possibility of a lay person performing private baptism.
