Robert KEERE of Tidenham c.1260/70 (General)
Hi Averil, thanks for the quick response!
My Grandmother Emily Morgan descends from a James Morgan born c.1743 in Bream, Newlands, Glos who was married to Jane Kear, born 1768 also Newlands, Glos her father was Samuel Kear c.1715 Newlands. All my Morgan records are correct so my only skepticism was the Kear connection which came to me via Ancestry.co.uk?
I started my family tree 20 years ago in order to establish my Welsh ancestry. Half my ancesters migrated to Wales from England and the Morgans were, as far as I knew, simple farmer stock. I had a long break from my research and then recently started with several female branches. You can well imagine my shock at discovering the Kear connection and the royal links to Gwent and Monmouthshire!!
