THOMAS Tutshill / Chepstow (General)

by slowhands @, proud of his ancient Dean Forest roots, Friday, April 01, 2011, 06:08 (4990 days ago) @ atglossop

I was doing another search of FOD a couple of days ago when I turned up will for James Thomas occ Carpenter died 10 May 1877 with a Mary Jane as beneficiary. Next jobs to do are sending for birth cert. for Mary Jane and copy will for James. Is Mary Jane, Fred's sister or maybe aunt ?

The beneficary could well be James' daughter.

Would hope to find Woodcroft in 1871 Tidenham parish - no candidates so far

Taking this line of thought further there is :- long shot Maria's mother ?
Which would explain why it is difficult to make a connection in the 1871 census
