I must thank everyone who has responded with such wonderful information. I did not expect anyone to have the certificate. Brilliant! I now feel very secure on this marriage. The problem results to some extent on the spelling on names. Both Tryphena and Parlor are open to creative spelling.

To the last respondent I believe she appears in the 1841 census twice. The 1841 record quoted must, I believe, show her staying with her grandparents in Moorwood.I had originally thought her to have been an only child. However, I believe her father also included her on his return so she is recorded twice. I don't suppose anyone could write so the record must have been oral. I wonder whether this was a common error in the 1841 census?
