The question of being on the census twice has been discussed on this forum, and proven to happen.

If you use the Advance Search - and just put in the first three surname letters i.e. PAR

father: John, mother Elizabeth

you will find PARLAN/PARLEUR/PARLO/PARLER/PARLOUR from 1723 onwards


1723, PARLOUR, Ann - John/Elizabeth - Marstow

1770 - PARLER - John - John/Elizabeth - English Bicknor
