Deciphering Edward Stockam 1859 marriage record (General)

I have a copy of Edward Stockam and Esther Smith's marriage record on 14 Feb 1859 at The Lea parish in Hereford/Gloucester. My question has to do with their residence at the time of the marriage. It lists East Dean for each of them. How can I find out the village in which they were located within East Dean? Was there a village named East Dean as well as a township? I thought I saw one listed on a map I was viewing. It was located above Wigpool and to the right of the Hamlet of Lea Bailey. Is that possible?

I just want to see if I can find out were they were living in 1859. In 1861 they are located in Ruardean with their first born son Henry William. In 1863 they are in Cinderford when David was born.

I have a marriage record from 1886 for David Stockam and Eliza Preddy. It lists a specific village "the Pludds" as their residence. That's why I am not sure if the East Dean listed on the marriage record is a village or township.

Thanks for your help.

East Dean is an area rather than a specific village or hamlet....
