Francis MEEK baptised 1655 (General)
I believe I am descended through this line (John Meek / Clare Bridgeman) too and find that Ancestry has copies of the images from the Ruardean records where John's baptism on Aug 28th 1682 is recorded. In this instance his mother's name is given as "Alito" but elsewhere becomes Elinor (possibly Dubberly).
A possible sibling Jeremy or Jeremiah (mother Elino) was baptised Aug 17th 1679/80 and I am possibly descended through him too.
Much of my information of more modern times (if that's the correct term for the 18th century) came from correspondence with the late Jim Ashton who had extensively researched his Marfell and Meek ancestry.
Regards
-Colin
