There are no obvious matches in 1871, and I have unfortunately just run out of viewing credits for now! either they have moved or died by then? Looking on the IGI - John Watkins was christened in Newent 28 Sep, born to William & Sarah. Other children of theirs may include Henry, William, Ann, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Sarah and Hannah. Mary Thorne appears to have been born to John & Ann, along with possibly a John, Joseph, Sarah and Charles. But maybe you knew all that anyway!? Sorry I am unable to help you further with the census' at present. kind regards
