I am sorry that you are not a cousin but am very pleased to make the aquaintance of someone so interested in their heritage. The Forest of Dean area, from what I see in researching, seems like a lovely place. Perhaps when I win that elusive lottery, I will go there.

Thanks for the additional information. If they had Christian events at Christ Church, Newland Parish Church, and Coleford Cemetary, would they have been part of the Church of England or are these some other denomination? I am also assuming that because they were extraparocial in their geographic location that this had no influence on their church membership. Is that correct? I have been researching the geographic, ecclesiastic, and political boundries of England with some success but sometimes the cultural issues are not in black and white.
