I've just discovered your message and I have Milo Lloyd in my family tree. He emigrated to the USA in 1870 and 8 years later married Elizabeth Bottoms (my ancestor) who emigrated in 1867. These are their known children; Robert, Henry, Elizabeth Jesse, Sarah, Kerziah, Thirza and Mary Jane. Milo died 10 July 1918 in Luzerne, Pennsylvania. He was known as "Moses" because "he slept on his hands and knees. Knew the Bible from front to back. Was able to read music and played the violin" I wonder if he felt guilty leaving a large family in the UK???
By coincidence we've arranged a short break in the Forest of Dean later this year!
