hi sue, i believe mary to be the daughter of thomas aston 1747 and anne evans 1752, mary was christened 03.04.1791 at newland and married william AMBLETON on 30.09.1815. this appears to be one of those surnames that keeps changing!! (maybe noone could spell it!) on decimas christening the surname is ambling, and there are other variations. let me know what you think? kind regards carol
