Thomas & Patience Hancock (General)

I have found a marriage for Thomas Hancocks and Patience Haynes, It states they were married Dec.3'1839 in Parish-Chapel Newnham. Both of them listed St.Briavels as their residence. Thomas's father was David Hancocks a blacksmith and Patience's father was John Haynes a thatcher. I believe that Thomas & Patience are my 3great-grandparents,They moved to America in the early 1850's.I am looking for any info regarding them prior to the move to America.The only Thomas & Patience Hancock I have found on the 1841 census was in Llanelly,Wales. Both the marriage certificate and the census list, Thomas is a miner. Any information for these two people or their Families would be appreciated. Thank you, Ed Hancock
