As Thomas & Patience HANCOCK came to America in early 1850's - what children from England went with them?

If they had children in Llanelly, which comes under Crickenhowell District: - there is on FreeBDM - a few HANCOCK children born there.

(2) David HANCOCKS, A/MJ Qtr 1844
Edward HANCOCKS - J/A/S Qtr 1846
John HANCOCKS - A/M/J Qtr 1848
Mary Jane HANCOCKS - A/M/J Qtr 1850
Philip George HANCOCKS - J/F/M Qtr 1851

On the Church of Latter Day Saints, there is a Patience HAINES christened 12 March 1809 at Standish, Gloucestershire, parents John HAINES & Elizabeth. (Patience HANCOCK age 30 on the 1841 census)

There are HAINES christened also at St Briavels - Jane 1806, John 1808, Charles 1812, parents John HAINES & Elizabeth.

John (the Thatcher) - I think, would have worked in lots of local places - Not sure which areas in Gloucestershire, had thatched roofs!!! - In the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire there are still many.

Would be interesting to know, how the 'average' workman cottage was constructed/roofed in the FOD, as the occupation 'Thatcher' is something I can't remember being mentioned before for this area.
