Lane End, West Dean - prior thread (General)

by slowhands @, proud of his ancient Dean Forest roots, Friday, July 26, 2013, 16:25 (4140 days ago) @ pojames

Have been trying to track down the census address of Thos James in 1851. Township "West Dean", District "Christ Church", addresses all 'Lane End'. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~cbennett/westdean1876.htm lists a number of different Lane Ends in West Dean. Any way one can tell which this is ? Or are they all related ? (Fascinating previous thread about a tapestry, where it was decided it was Broadwell Lane End; but I couldn't see why !

Thanks in advance, as ever, for any guidance.
