Baptism of Alfred POPE b1830 (General)

Thanks Paul for filling in the gaps, clearly the family were all talented craftsmen, seems a shame to me we don't seem to see their like nowadays.
Also for confirming the name Swindaniah, one of the more unusual I've ever come across. Googling shows the same name in other North Glos families, is it Biblical, or maybe Romany ??

Apologies for my incorrect title on my initial post wrt "Alfred b1837", should have read 1830 of course.

Perhaps someone can please shed some light on the reported disappearance of George B Pope born Lydney abt 1852, I do hope he resurfaced with no harm done ?
