Mitcheldean Road Station & Railway Inn; video and photos ?. (General)

I've found this great home-video of a 1959 wedding party at Mitcheldean Road Station, seeing the happy couple off on their honeymoon. Part of the film shows them walking up the approach road to the station, however it's unclear which direction they're coming from. In the distance buildings can be seen, hard to tell what they are from the map, but the road layout suggests its not the same (southern) side of the tracks as the Railway Inn ??.

However this 1957 photo was taken from a train entering the station from the western (Ross) side, so the buildings in the background are on the southern side of the tracks past the sidings. One of them is probably the Railway Inn, probably the large white one, but sadly it's largely obscured.

Compare both the above with this map from 1948.

Hoping this is of interest,
