George Cox, Clearwell (General)

I've had no success finding information on George Cox, named as the father on Baptismal Registers of the following children:

Emma Cox, b. 1842 in West Dean
Thomas, b. 1843 in Tutshill, Tidenham, Monmouthshire
Sarah, b. 1845 in Clearwell
Hannah, b. 1849
Mary Ann, b. 1850
Edwin, b. 1855, d. February 28, 1867
Elizabeth, b. 1857
Fanny, b. 1859

Hannah, Mary Ann, Edwin, Elizabeth and Fanny were all born in Newland Bush.

The mother of these children is Ann Matilda Brooks, b. 1821 in West Dean, d. February 14,1886 in Clearwell, daughter of James and Mary Brooks. I am unable to find a marriage record for George and Ann Matilda, thereby failing to find parents for George Cox, nor a birth or death record for him.

I would appreciate any information on him.
