Which prompts the question: Was he transported?

Looking at http://members.iinet.net.au/~perthdps/convicts/index.html
I find a George Cox was found guilty of Sheep Stealing at Gloucester in 1859 (same year as last child was born), sentenced to 6 years penal servitude and was transported on the Norwood in 1862. But his age is given as 25 which does not fit.
