HOPKIN Wills (General)

Had another look at the short Will of Warren HOPKIN, Shipwright, Woolaston - dated 3 February 1788 - and can't make out whether Elinor HOPKIN the daughter of Thomas HOPKIN is his sister/wife or most likely Niece but she is the Sole Executrix of the Will.

Very briefly - and a number of smudges which make it difficult to decifer...

In the name of God Amen Warren HOPKIN of the Parish of Woolaston in the County of Gloucester Shipwright considering the uncertainty of this short...... life and being of sound perfect mind and ..... do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. Firest I Give and Bequeath to my wife/sister/neice (looks like Srrirc) the daughter of Thomas HOPKIN (smudgy) first? .... that Orchard known by the name of ........... Worgan's during her nature life and after her decease I Give and Bequeath the said Orchard to my nephew William HOPKIN his Heirs and Afzises forever and as to the rest of my Freehold Leashold personal affects Goods and Chattels of whatever nature or kind soever whatsoever situated I give and bequeath to my (wife/sister?) Eleanor HOPKIN her Heirs and Afsizes for over whom I appoint Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament hereby ...... all found Wills by me made In witnefs whom I have everunto set my hand and seal the 3 day of February in the year of our Lord 1 July 1788 Warren HOPKIN.

Signed sealed publish and declared by the above named Warren HOPKIN to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of use who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnefses in the presence of the estate

Thomas - 10 March 1739 (Eleanor could be his daughter and also may be William is the Nephew mentioned)
