Edward Percy PHILLIPS 1896-1942 (General)

The following website contains some, but not all, of the Memorial Inscriptions for many Cemeteries in the County (I think the site has an emphasis on military-related burials ?). It may still be worth searching through, altho' I can confirm Edward is not listed at Arlingham, Alvington, Newnham, Lydney, Cinderford St Johns, Gloucester or Barnwood...

Unfortunately this site doesn include Littledean, which is near Newnham ?.
Did you search there in your visit ?

Searching the FoD PRs for Phillips' Burials in the mid C20th, I see a number in Chepstow Municipal Cemetery, not "too" far downriver from Newnham perhaps ?. However this website shows that Edward is not at rest there (probably no real surprise).

So, I suspect nothing new here for you, sorry.
If Edward did marry again (Adalena ?) then do you know what became of her ?
That seems a worthwhile source of information.

Good luck, Jeff.

PS Have you tried the local Newnham History society, they may have Burial Records or a plan for the Cemetery, perhaps ?
