Another option is going through the local Newspaper Archives for his Obituary - as if there is one, this should state where the Funeral Service took place + interment information/and afterwards may be the report of the funeral , who attended and floral tributes.

I have both of these i.e. Death Announcement/and after the funeral took place of my Grannie who died in 1949 in Swindon, Wiltshire which lists Mourners (some from Blakeney), which has been very useful for family grouping.

Back numbers of Newspapers are sometimes held in the local Reference Library/Record Offices etc.
