Sorry CP/C, despite again searching at length I cannot find any more records of the sort you're searching.
Quite a few Frederick Arthur COLLINS and Thomas COLLINS to consider in the Birth and Census records, but none are definite fits for our men beyond those already posted in this thread.

Were they deliberately trying to elude the official records ?
